I was invited to come celebrate México’s Day of Independence and the launch of Los Pastelitos, London’s first Mexican panadería (bakery) on Sunday 16th Sept.
It was all about tacos, pastelitos, solar plexus hitting jokes with a mariachi band thrown in.

On the menu : tacos callejeros (traditional street tacos) with slow cooked beef and pico de gallo (salad and herbs) and one veggie option.
maize (corn) tortillas are homemade garnished with Adelita’s hot chipotle salsa.
